Location: Washington State University – Pullman Campus

Application Deadline: Sunday, September 14th, 2025

 

After the deadline, our student team will review all submissions and send invitations to selected students. Students who are not initially selected will be placed on a waitlist and may be invited if space becomes available.

 

Who Can Apply?

Students from all high school grade levels are encouraged to apply. Our goal is to share the college experience with as many students—and schools—as possible from across Washington state. While priority is given to sophomores, juniors, and seniors, everyone is welcome to apply.

  • What Are We Looking For?

    We're looking for students who:

    • May have limited exposure to higher education
    • Are curious about their options after high school
    • Want to bring what they learn back to their schools and communities

    Whether you're still exploring your future or already thinking about college, this experience is for you.

  • What Happens After You Apply? 

    After submitting your application, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Our team will review all applications and notify students of their acceptance status about two weeks before the conference. If you’re not selected, you’ll be placed on a waitlist and may still be invited if space opens.

  • Conference Fee

    There is a registration fee for accepted participants. This fee covers meals, lodging, transportation, and all conference materials.

    Fee waivers are available for students with financial need. You’ll have the option to request one in your application—please don’t let the cost prevent you from applying.

    Only students who are officially accepted will submit payment.

  • What You'll Need to Apply

    Before starting your application, be prepared to provide:

    • Basic contact info and GPA
    • T-shirt size and dietary needs
    • Preferred pick-up location
    • Emergency contact information
    • Optional roommate preferences
    • Responses to two short essay questions

Selection Criteria

The selection criteria are based on class status, essay question, GPA, previous attendance, initiative, and demand.  Juniors and Seniors will receive priority over Sophomores and Freshmen, but all students are encouraged to apply. Past attendees are welcome to register for the conference again.  However, priority will be given to new students. we received over 250 applications, and we accepted 150 participants.

After applying, you will receive an email confirming your registration and acceptance into the conference. Confirmation emails will be sent in early October.
