About the Conference
SHAPING is a student-led leadership conference that brings high school students from across Washington to the WSU Pullman campus for a weekend-long college experience. While the conference is designed to support and uplift students from Asian American, Pacific Islander, and Desi American (APIDA) communities, students of all backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Hosted annually by the Asian Pacific American Student Coalition (APASC) and current WSU students, SHAPING provides high school participants with the opportunity to:
- Engage in workshops focused on college admissions, financial aid, and student life
- Connect with college mentors and student leaders
- Build lasting friendships with peers from across the state
- Experience life on a college campus at one of Washington’s premier public universities
